Licensed as a real estate agent in Hawaii in 1990, Mark has developed commercial as well as residential properties and owned and operated businesses in the dental, medical, construction and boating industries. His dental supply business achieved the distinction of capturing more than 80% market share and served 100% of all the dentists in Hawaii. This business was honored as the #16th fastest growing business in 1998 and #23rd fastest in 2000 in the Pacific Business News / First Hawaiian Banks fastest 50 growing businesses in Hawaii. Mark’s expansion into the international import and export business led him to China where he operates with partners a successful medical/dental business between China and the USA. Mark’s associations are numerous and encompass many different activities, including Membership in Small Business Hawaii, the Building Industry of America, Hawaii Yacht Club, International Business Brokers Association, and many others. Since 2003 Mark has specialized in helping buyers and sellers either sell or purchase there own businesses. He was consistently one of the highest performing agents for Business Brokers Hawaii before joining VR. He is married to wife Tina and is the father of two sons, 19 and 23. In his few spare moments away from work he enjoys surfing, sailing, diving, weight lifting, and fishing. |
